Waimea Nature Park (Ulu La'au) Interactive Maps and Image Gallery


​​The Outdoor Circle is proud to announce that the updated digital versions of the Waimea Nature Park (Ulu La'au) is now complete and ready to be enjoyed by all. Below you will find three unique links to two different maps and an image gallery:

1) Waimea Nature Park Story Map - This easy to use interactive map features images and content for the park in an aesthetically pleasing way that guides the user through a virtual tour of the nature park.
2) Waimea Nature Park Images - This is where you can find all of the recently photographed high-resolution images of specific plant species, regions of the park and memorial plaques
3) Waimea Nature Park Map - This traditional style digital map contains more content than the story map above (Common Name, Hawaiian Name, Scientific Name, botanical information and additional images) and is focused more on providing information, rather than the more aesthetic approach. When walking around the park, this would be the better map to use, although both will work on mobile devices and tablets.

Educational Pavilion Blessing Ceremony
The Blessing of the Waimea Outdoor Circle's Educational Pavilion took place on Saturday, April 9th at Ulu La`au the Waimea Nature Park. The education center had been a long range goal of WOC and was made possible through generous monetary and in-kind donations from private foundations and individuals. It will provide a much needed venue for a wide range of classes, workshops and community events at the nature park.
