NSOC - Exceptional Tree Dedication Ceremony
Aloha Outdoor Circle Members,
Invite your neighbors and friends to this Ear Pod Tree Dedication in Waialua on Saturday, February 25th, at 10:30am next to the Waialua Library.
The NSOC is very proud of having played a key role in getting major pruning accomplished that has improved the health and appearance of this 115 year old exceptional tree. This project involved coordinating funding and work issues with the Nakamura family, Waialua Library and getting bids from approved tree trimming companies.
Thanks go out to the NSOC tree committee under the active leadership of their president, Gidget Germain.

"My Favorite Tree" Contest
The Outdoor Circle's (TOC) "My Favorite Tree" contest is designed to highlight the many trees throughout the state that an individual/group finds interesting for a variety of reasons. From rarity to aesthetic features, this competition will show other tree lovers from around the state what magnificent specimens exist, along with providing a reason as to why the contest entrant chose the specific tree. By including a location address, these trees can also be added to TOC's "My Favorite Tree Map" which will allow others to experience these same trees that they may not have known even exists.
