• Usually grows around 16 ft. tall.
• Fragrant, white flowers.
• Fruits gathered from wild can be used as a dye.
• Native to Hawaii and mainly found there as well.
• Habitat has been severely degraded by cows and goats.
• Counted as "Critically Endangered" in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
• Habitat is dry forests, rocky gulches, plateau lands, or lava flows.
