Greening Hawaiʻi’s Public Schools with Shade, Fruit, Ornamental, and Native Trees

These planting projects see shade, fruit, ornamental, and native species of trees planted at public schools throughout Hawaiʻi.  Students, faculty, and community members who wish to learn about the tree species planted and the correct way to maintain/care for them are invited to free workshop sessions so that they can learn about the program, the trees being planted, and then can assist with taking care of these trees and others throughout their communities.
