Aerial and Mobile Ads

Since 1948 The Outdoor Circle has been at the forefront of preventing the skies over Hawai‘i from becoming littered with aerial advertising. Most recently, we strongly supported the successful court battle in which the Federal courts upheld the City and County of Honolulu’s prohibition against aerial advertising.

Sensing an impending invasion by the rapidly growing mobile advertising industry, in 2006 The Outdoor Circle persuaded the State Legislature to ban billboard trucks in Hawai‘i.
