Urban Forestry Master Plan

The Tropical Urban Forestry Management Plan for the City and County of Honolulu was created by The Outdoor Circle in cooperation with Green Hawai‘i (a consortium of community groups, professional organizations and public agencies that promotes Hawai‘i’s natural beauty).

The project was funded by the Kaulunani Urban Forestry Program, the USDA Forest Service and the City and County of Honolulu, creates an urban forestry plan for Honolulu. The plan gives an in depth analysis of the existing condition of our urban forest as well as proposes a work plan to best utilize the Department of Urban Forestry’s limited resources.
