Pali Entry to Kailua

For the past several years, Lani-Kailua Outdoor Circle has worked to beautify Pali Highway’s median as the roadway enters Kailua. Lani-Kailua Outdoor Circle has worked extensively with the State of Hawaii’s Department of Transportation and has funded large amounts of this improvement project through the “I Love Kailua” Town Party, one of windward Oahu’s most looked forward to family oriented events.

Most of the trees planted under this project have recently been removed by the Department of Transportation so badly needed improvement work on the highway could proceed. As soon as this work is completed, these very same trees (and then some) will be replanted in the median strip, once again beautifying the gateway to Kailua.
